What was the book GM? There are many books on the subject now. The first one I ever read was "Amongst the thugs" by Bill Buford I think.

I have not any of the Brimson books. "Armed for the Match" by Steve Hicky Hickmott is a good read as it describes the first trial of hooligans after Thatchers crackdown order. I am not certain if its still in print. 'Hoolifan" is another good read.
