Worst Housing Estate?

Oh right well apparently angell town has been redeveloped since then so not sure if it's still bad, my bets are that it is though. Lol at least they had the decency to ask and return it.
 
The Garngad, Royston in Glasgow. There's so many junkies it looks like the set of a post apocalyptic Zombie film. F@ckin dawn of the dead or something.

Zombies and asylum seekers. Grim, social representaion of the underclass this scheme.

Moss side,manchester,building flats across the road from the community centre,young black lad on a bmx shot dead in an alley down the side of the job,the following week another fella was gunned down outside the community centre right in front of the job,dont know if he died,but you never knew if you would cop for a stray bullet or two on that job,also on that job some geezer walked on site in a hi viz and hard hat and got in a brand new telehandler and just drove offsite never to be seen again:cry:
 
ive heard that chorley in lancashire has taken a right dive in the last couple of weeks.
Rumour has it theres a fecking jam eater moved in ;)

Back in the early 80s i was working on a block of flats in brixton went to strike but the kids had smeard dog siht all up the tube & over the fittings the stench just made u gag about 30mins into thr strike & a bloody g8 big tv landed a cpl of feet away....fcukers had thrown it out of the window from nearly the top floor...final straw came when we heard the van getting broken into ...chased the kuds away got in the van & fcuked off never to return
 
Almost sticks in my throat to say this but when I go to some of these estates (normally before 1000 and accompanied by some burly scaffolder) I have total respect for you guys. Fair enough it doesn't last long but I do all the same. These places are all ***** holes and the people are just trash who don't know what living is. Victims of circumstance? Maybe - but you don't need to live like this - anyway that's a thread for another day.

Point is you guys are generally hard as nails, have chequered pasts yourselves and I wouldn't mess with you no matter what estate I'm from. To hear even you guys are intimidated by these estates should put things in perspective for everyone else. So while most of you are a few screws short yourselves - you're still prepared to get out of bed at 0600 and do hard physical work in some pretty fecked up environments - respect!
 
in my career the so called bad schemes(estates)are the ones were you get a cup of tea.go to the fancy houses and you dont even get the time of day

Must be working class thing any trades sky man etc come to mine the forced tea coffe bisquits i will not take no for an answer lol
