This fuck1ng thread is doing more good for Algeria than their tourist board, if it keeps up next year Thompsons will be doing package holidays there
 
i think the country went downhill since the Legion left in 62',what a lot of people might not remember is France did a lot of its Nuclear testing in this country over many years,so if your in the sweltering heat,you wipe your brow on your glowing hiviz,,,,then realise you werent wearing one and your bollax fall off you might realise why scotontour hasnt been around since :eek:

m splence, why would you want me to comment? to start another slagging match off? there are enough PR1CKS doing that lately on the forum anyway.

i do also stand by my thanks (not statement) about scotontour, as he has took one on the chin for me numerous times throughout my career.

as HSWT said, things are probably out of his control and he will pay the price probably a bit more than the ALGERIA 6 will have to.(we have all been promised the golden hind)

i do agree that he should have given an explanation and i will slate him personally when i finally speak to him.
so please go away little man and taunt someone else, if you want a fight pick up the phone as i am TOTALLY p1ssed off with keyboard warriers like YOU.

Yes, I realise the job is dead and cant be resurrected. However there is no problem with discussing what did or did not occur. In fact we always used to analyse major projects after completion to discuss what went well, what went badly, where we could have made more profit and how to improve on the next one. In fact in one company we went further and used to analyse unsuccessful tenders so that we could be on top of the game in the future. I am sure you do that in your work now dont you?

That is fantastic news deb. If a forum can get people talking and laughing or crying about something when they are at work and not on the forum then it shows the forum has an impact.
 
got to admit it did give me a laugh some of the patter,not guys being let down on a job promise.
i would also agree its got to be better than the spelling SHIIIT,that did the rounds.;)
 
Um, if you want this thread to die, then don't post in it.

But it's been a big thing, expect it to hand around a bit longer.

I'd like to point out AOM is very much is own man too, he has many a time put across different opinions to others but had the reasons to back it up. And there's not some "top posters club".
 
The job is dead too... to my knowledge all the remaining other 3 blokes all dumped it too.

An old work mate of mine flew out yesterday to that very same job for Cape!

Sounds like the job was a goer after all...
