Trainee card renewal???

Does anybody know if you haven't to resit the cscs health and safety test if you are renewing your trainee card??? I sat the test 18 months ago but do i have to sit it again in order to renew my trainee card?

Yes you do, but you can only renew your trainee card once or twice maybe.

Only if u have less than 2years valid on ur exhisting card

If he is having to renew his card, I'm guessing he has less than 2 years left on it.

It runs out in a few weeks so will need to resit test as I need to renew card. Thanks for help lads

You only get 1 trainnie ticket, you need to get a part 1 course booked before the 18 months runs out or they won't renew it.

They will phil-- u can renew it once for a further 18 months but in that time u must complete ur pt2 or its back to a labourers card but i think they will also need to attend the 1day cots course

I've done my part 2 just need the one day final assessment completed but have to renew card before they can give me a date.just wondered if I had to sit the h and s test again as I done it 18 months ago already.

No, you won't have to do the H&S test again - it's valid for 2 years.
