Standardisation of Pavement Licence

It's starting to gain momentum. I think birmingham were the first to insist on it and after one or two incidents last year Edinburgh are phasing it in to come in to force next year to give non members a chance to join. Can't remember exactly where but there was a talk from someone from a massive university complex that were planning to spend millions that were insisting on membership.

I think I phrased the question wrongly... I'm not looking for councils insisting on NASC membership but councils that insist on fixing down boards as part of their pavement license.

Your having a laugh, I filled one out today and no matter how many times I tell them they keep using the old forms quoting BS5973. Most councils in my limited experience wouldn't know the job had to be tied let alone the boards.
