Sockets for IW

Right lads after all the talk about IW here of late i have taken the plunge and ordered one So now i need to buy a socket and a frog for it so iam wondering what everyone else uses and where they get the sockets from ?

Welcome to the darkside m8 but tbh phil for that a of cash u coulda had makita- great bit of kit. I'm surw you'll be asking urself after a few days wot took u so ling to get urself one.
As for a socket any medium length 21m will do & the best holder ive found is from screwfix's universal powertool holder it only costs about a £5 & is just deep enough for the iw to stop it fallin out but still easy to use & is much better hard wearing than the more expensive ones

Iv hears some Guys using spark plug sockets for long threaded Couplers...

I got a Universal Joint ( no funnies please Guys ) attaches between the drive and socket...

The Frogs are okay, but I use a Bungie over the ( SAS shot gun style )

Im sure AOM and others will come in on this one...

I got a snap-on semi deep socket great piece for £20
Not found a decent holster yet but im gonna try the screwfix one SP mentioned

I use a makita 21mm socket from beesley tools only £10

I have tryed a few and found the big lug holder the best so far . The best socket I've had has been a makita one both items are cheap

Bigg Lugg Power Tool Holder Belt Hook is the best by far. tried all the pouches and found they hang too far down your leg when walking about, whereas the bigg lugg don't

Hiya phil....i use a standard 35-50mm makita socket, i also use a makita holster, both of these can be found on ebay mate.
