boots the truth

well karrimor are comfy & cheap but dont last 10-12 week max only £22 quid in sports direct

dickies hiking safty boots disintigrated after 2 weeks £29:99 screwfix took them back and got a refund no questions

black leather timberland pro £49:99 makro £20 cheaper than anywere else these were the worst ever boots ive worn could not break them in after wetting aunty blister sox and 10 boxes of plasters gave up never again

now wear dewalts £39:99 screwfix these are comfy but i dont think these will last 3 weeks in toes are coming away but watch this space
 
FFS scaffolder110 I'm glad I don't have to keep you in boots, what are you using them for, sole pads?
 
Don't think the nasc will be worrying too much about producing a statement about the boots I wear, they will assume I am old enough and ugly enough to risk assess the correct ppe for the job in hand.

I would suggest this could be a project for this forum or the SCCR safety committee, once collated they could write a guidance note on it.
