Is system the way forward?

PW,

Totally agree with the transportation implications with Layher All-round. I remember the costs involved with loading this into containers against T&F's owing to the way it stacks basically. The discs (or flowers!) used to waste so much room when packaging it into bundles.

The gaps in the boards (cheese graters!) used to be a real problem and we had to many eye related incidents to list with blasting grit, welding slag and steel banding wire falling through the gaps etc. Don't know about yourself, but I got fed up of pulling metal splinters out of fingers every night after using it! The general quality was very good though, but that's German engineering for you.

A big shout for readylok, probably one of SGB's best inventions cutting down on materials, ledger bracing, leveling and measuring. The down side was people bombing, as it was a nightmare trying fix it when the gates were all twisted and mangled. Has anyone else got battle scars on their collar bone after being bitten by it when it slips off your shoulder when trying to carry too many, lol..?

Cheers,
Phil.
