Why why why do these trainning centres not no the difference between a cscs touch screen and a ccnsg passport to safety just had all paperwork posted back from erith from a month ago as my safety passport is out of date yes yes yes the cscs safety passport is but the ccnsg isnt it has 2 years left were the trainning centre looks up your cscs they cant look up your ccnsg and are not familiar with the ccnsg ticket had the same with the part 2 ticket as they said the cscs was out of date and had to send a copy of my ccnsg why cant these two tickets be on the same system now its all got to be sent back so another 2 weeks of waiting when i get my inspection ticket back i will then try and find out were my haki notification is thats supposed to be sent out with a new cisrs card with the haki system on back of card thou mr mosley has been very helpfull seems like erith has a problem yet again with there paperwork
 
Paper work is always a nightmare Kev. I keep all the boys cards up to date, but the truth is I wish I just left them to it as it's the bane of my life at times.
 
My cscs has just expired and I was actually thinking of doing the passport to safety as I know that having it covers you for cscs and I'm thinking of going back to petrochemical work this year and just doing my own thing at the weekends. Does your average building site agent not know it sort of supercedes the cscs then Dico?
 
well the training centre don't no so the site agent wont have a clue its 2014 why the hell cant these courses be put straight on a database
 
these days it wouldn't/shouldn't be hard for these organisations to have peoples info stored in one of these clouds (where files are stored and are accessible online) its all digital info that should be able to be got hold of very easily. anyone involved in the so called Scaffolders Register Scheme could be provided with a username and password that would enable them to access and download any new copies of their certs or access the info for proof of a their ability.

CISRS however live in the dark ages where people have to send away original certs , then wait the best part of 4-6 weeks for cards to come back.

the idea that these people are so busy that it should take 4 weeks for a card is , strange/pathetic:suspicious:.
 
The call centre staff are, in my experience about as sharp as a circle.
 
what annoyes me ive got the whole form sent back photo and photo copys from the tickets that they wanted because admin at Erith kent have put all tickets together when they photo copied. the scaffold card went over the ccnsg card. so all that shows is half the ticket of the ccnsg no date or serial number. rather than look it up or find out the card theve written on scaffold form heath and safety test out of date and sent the lot back like ive said its now my problem and I will now have to wait another 2 weeks Erith you are so un professional this is blokes lively hoods
 
How hard would it be for cisrs/cscs and ccsng to work under the same umberella, they recognise all system scaffold courses so why not a saftey passport course ???.
Mind boggles...
 
just got home from work and had the run down from my wife reference this sent back paperwork from erith even thou ncc Erith made the mistake with the photo copys were they photocopied over the safety passport so you couldn't see dates the women on phone was really rude to my wife and didn't give a shi! she just said send it back she couldn't even be bothered to look up reference number if you don't wana be employed at Erith give the job to someone who wants it at the end of the day we paye your wages my wife then rang cisrs who were very helpful and were sending paperwork to them do your self a favour lads when you complete a course deal with your own paperwork and send it off your self all it does is give cisrs and nasc a bad name hope someone reads this and shakes them up at Erith cos the after service is crap!!
 
Funny you should say that vancouver when I sat my part 1 many moons ago I recieved a phone call 3 months later saying I could book my part 2 final assessment so me being me I phoned up and booked a slot, paid my money over the phone and it wasn't until 3 weeks before I was due to attend that I got a call saying you cant sit the final assessment as you have not done part 2 yet. Money refunded haha what a laugh and yet bummer

why have a training centre that's run right with the trainners which ive had no problem with but after the course at Erith the paperwork goes to pot!!! lets be honest the reception at Erith is stuck in the 1960 if they cant cope with the paperwork why not paye some overtime out!!! its got to be beter than people moaning down the phone either way it dosent mean people can be rude on phone. you paye your course then the paperwork should be kept safe you shouldn't have to deal with the second party when you paye for the first party to sort it they seem more interested in putting tickets on your car saying this is managers parking not contractors and moan when the trainners class gets in the canteen early before the staff get a grip and sort your paperworks out
 
There's a right miserable c.unt who works in that canteen. Big massive queue for food so I grabs a can out of the fridge and walks to the front to the till as nobody is actually dishing food up and one woman on the till. She told me to go to the back of the queue, i told her to ram it and she said I was banned for life hahaha. Made a point of doing the same thing every day after that.
 
canteen staff seemed fine chris the problem I can see is management and reception staff. theres one lady in reception whos more than helpful the other moans more than me why iam at it aswell why don't they invest in some more scaffold and boards and fittings instead of using the same olde crap theve had for years this thread is not aimed at the instructors just the others
 
only me again!!! still waiting for my cisrs inspection ticket sat course 12th December 2013 its now January 23.1 14 and still waiting for ticket from postman Erith you really need to get your act together a cscs is the same as a ccnsg still it lasts 5 years so still got some time to use it. you go back to school learn the trade from ecitb to cisrs and still get mugged off !!
