I need technical advice for bracing beams.
If the pair of beams are supported at both ends on girders and a hanger is dropped down the middle so the top chord is in compression and bottom in tension. Where should the plan bracing and 1.2 distanced lacing go, top compression chord or bottom tension chord?
What's the general rule anyway. I always thought plan brace cantilevers on the bottom and beams fixed at both ends on the top ( no matter if scaffold is punched up or dropped down from them cuz compression and tension stay the same in the beam). Am I wrong?
