I worked at vickers ship yard in the early nineties for Deborah's on the Trident submarine. Built two support scaffolds for lifting the sub engines in. There was 3 sections to the sub the supports were either side of the middle section. The scaffolds had to be bob on the measure for the metal containers carrying the engines.We did a dropper on the over head crane which we were told was for testing the crane before they lifted the nuclear war heads in/ it was some height supposedly the biggest shed in europe at the time/we had security fellas with us at all times even followed you to the bog.
