I hope he comes back, I for one cant wait for the next instalment of "The Guide to Scaffolding, part two" the one where Jason (Mr Frodo) has to drop his big ben spanner into the river Thames to end the world domination of that firm that brought out trad. In the sequel he is tasked with building the worlds biggest staircase, I believe filming has already started.

That's correct. I saw them filming as I went past the Algerian embassy earlier today.
Now you mention it , I'm sure I saw a small fat fella wearing a headlamp in broad daylight looking at some designs for an enormous staircase or escalator ( may have had the plans on their side) earlier today. Apparently there was big interest in the casting of the production, hundreds applied for the leading role as Mr Frodo, but only a certain number were picked, cant remember how many though ..
Six were picked, including Michael Berryman as Gibbs and Jimmy Krankie as AOM.
Quality, hope AOM has a sense of humour. How come only six were picked ? Thank goodness Garry Adams had the good sense to smell a rat and leave early to deploy couplers elsewhere. Jason ( our hero) persevered, he could almost smell the sand, he wanted the big bucks and knew he would command an army of sycophantic black slaves who would ingratiate his "Guide to scaffolding" unlike everyone else in the uk with a brain. You could try the inner sleeve of that most fascinating book "The guide to good scaffolding" there is a picture of him wearing the traditional hard hat with head lamp. Simply cut it out and glue it onto your fag packet. Of you could do a Google image search under the heading "Cock with a scaffold spanner and video recorder" either should produce the desired result.

ok lads heres an opportunity.
6 quality scaffolders with minimum 10 years experience wanted for a job on an LNG plant in Algeria. ( scaffolders not supervisors)
hours are 6 days week 10 hours a day. 60 hours
all accomodation in a company guesthouse.
all meals.
flights and visa costs paid by us.
it will take 3 weeks to get a business visa
then the rotation will be 4 weeks in country. back home for 3 weeks to get the work visa then 10 weeks in country.
no part1's allowed
no part2's with less than 10 years experience.
this is a muslim country so the opportunities to go out and socialise are nil.
the situation is safe but everyone needs to be careful.
the money is £1250 per week in country then £250 per week while waiting for the work visa. all monies paid after tax in uk bank account.
pm me and then i require copies of cv's and certs sent to my personnal email.
this is not an agency this is a live opportunity.
