could do with driving licence / 7.5 tonne licence.

hi mate, just wonderd if u would take a part 1 on, i havent had much experience, just i need to get learning and not having much luck, or even a labouring job, thanks for your time, dan!

If its price work dan you won't get no experience there lads won't have time to show you they be to busy earning there money for the day not best place to start try little street firms I'm sure most lads would be happy to show you a thing or to with no pressure good luck.
 
good advice midge im glad there r other men out there with their nut screwed on the lads gota get on a family run firm and get a couple of years round him in an ideal world.
 
thanks for the advice lads, but its hard to get in a firm like that, theres only one firm near me and they not setting on at the minute. been looking everyday for last 2 month, even been ringing same firms up. they must be fed up off hearing from me.
 
u got a real good attitude dan keep it up and u will get sumit u sound like u wana do the job and thats music to my ears kuz its rare these days to get boys who wana step in2 our world. good stuff kid.

Hey just a thought maybe sort your safety passport out dan maybe try the engineering side some blue book sites are very relaxed and there's some good scaffs who would be more than happy to show you maybe take you under there wing and make a good scaff I know myself if I get a young lad keen which is very rare nowadays I enjoy showing them what I've learned over the years. Plus blue book jobs would allow you to travel with digs paid for just a thought to you problem of not many jobs near you. But you have a massive option by looking at other sectors in scaffolding. Any advice you need in to help you in the game your in the right place some great lads on here I've met and I'm looking forward to maybe working on the tools with one day chin up keep positive it will happen.
 
got to disagree with experience with being on price.on day work all lads do is plod about.(ive had these sort of lads before from subbies and they are usless).throw em in deepend 1st and you will get experience quicker and you will find out if you can hack scaffolding.
 
shy hook i agree with u. never going to learn if u cant hack the worst off the job. and the pressure it comes with, because i know its hard work. but im a hands on guy i love to get stuck in.
 
Lol skyhook that's just stupid that's we're the lad could seriously injure himself others even worst kill someone or him self. It's ok being hands on with experience lack of that is a acciedant waiting to happen. I work on price 90% of the time. All I would do is make you our FAC I'm sorry to say cos we wouldn't have time to show you the correct way to scaffold
So hence you would learn nothing and be no better than you are now dan so that what skyhook is saying to you is old school don't happen any more to much health and safety in place now.......
 
spot on midge!!!!!!! u got it mate i just sat down and read wot skyhook sed and i was just about to write sumit of the same stuff, he wants 1on 1 for a few years and then crack on and fined his own style. keep pressing dan!!
