work around manchester????

Can any one help me?

I passed my part 2 in nov n have to wait till june/july to do a stupid 1 day assessment (which i dont see any point of) then i can finally get my card!!

does anyone know if there are any places taking on around manchester and also would give me a chance to prove im not a novice even tho my card my say i am lol

I can't see the point either. I mean why would a training centre teach you for 2 weeks and then bring you back for 1 day to actually see if you have learned anything in those 6 months so you are then able to legally work as a scaffolder. I reckon you'd be safe working above the public as you say you're not a novice. They'll probably accept that excuse in court an all son.
