aberthware, South Wales, biggest boiler ave done, on par with rugley.. first coal station that is usually the first used to be eggbrough..!!! all stations always paid well, especially the lads that took jobs on a price..yes I am greedy when it comes to price work.. lol

sizewell should be starting february and didcot b should be march time i believe. seems these days youve got to bang the hours in to get any decent wages work out the hours you do and break the wages down there s!it you were getting todays wages 20yrs ago the industrial sectors seems to be dying a death the games had it!!!
 
Any ideas who's got the contract on sizewell/didcot ect contacts would be appreciated thanks

everybodys circumstances are different , for the havewilltravels theres still money out there , and i intend to get some this year.

The old that's what I was on 20 year ago! Cost of living has went up tax has went up! Get ya self on a standard shutdown and you can make some decent money! I was picking up £1200 7 x 10s on a few shutdowns this year! Yes that's a few hours but you've got to work hard to make decent money! You can bank 1000 a week if u don't piss it up the wall

I earned £74k last year, working on london underground doing possession work,
0130 to 0500
I'm on £59k this year and April is 4 months off yet
There is money out there, you just gotta find it.

good luck to you mightymouse this is what money that scaffolders should be payed. not the c!ap thats being payed now on most jobs as whizz states 7x10 hours for 1200 bagged ante to be knocked but if your working away from home and your a drinker then your doomed who wants to stay in every night paye your digs send money home that 1200 soon goes exspecially when 7 x8 on most industrial jobs will bag you 750 800 and your home every night. working away with digs this day and age should be atleast 1800 its what blokes wana work for but the rates need to be pushed up
