Hi Lads,Back in the UK, just a quick note to say im working over here in NZ for the past 6 months, work and life is great, money also loads of overtime to go with it, i was wondering is there any you scaffs intrested in coming over i can set you up in work immediatley if intrested, so please don,t hesistate to contact me through the forum, if intrested and i will give you all the pro & cons on coming out here

almost packet up the mises an the baby girl a short time ago . visa in motion had a
start with mainland in christchurch. 28$ per hour . not looking to be minted or anything. quality of life i;m after. with my litel girl so young the mises cant work just yet . with working out its roughly a grand a weak nz an rent roughly 500nz per weak . landlords seem to be pullin peopels pants down. seems a bit to much of a risk. shed an light chancefarm
 
Ive seen most of nz from the bay of islands down to c/church
there is work coming off but the money isnt great
if its quality of life go,if you want the big bucks (that usually get pissed up against a wall) then try oz if they let you in.
Remember scaffolding isnt a recognised trade so you may have difficulty getting in
 
Heard a whisper that Australia is paying 3 times the money in NZ for quality scaffs. Algeria is more.



Whisper is very true mate don't even need to be quality in aus but heard to get to Algeria you gotta be able to erect a 8x8
 
Hi, im thinking of going to australlia in april but new zealand could also be an option, is there a lot of difference in money over there? Im an Advanced Scaffolder with my supervision and inspectors tickets. Also where abouts in new zealand are you?

Any advice would be great, have been thinking about the idea for a while, but would not know where to start. I have heared the money isnt great. But to be honest to get away from the Uk the money wouldnt have to be that special. Any advice would be grateful

Yes any info would be great. I am 39 and a part 2, and my labourer is 31 and a part 1. How much is an average weekly wage? What are the typical working hours? What about if you have a family? Thank you

Christchurch has loads of work after the recent earthquakes which sadly has desroyed the city, but there is loads of work there.
