I know this is my first post but thouht id give it a bash.

Working for palmers in glasgow but just been put on my notice, just wondering
if anyone knows of any companies in glasgow looking for scaffs?

any help would be great cheers lads.

aye been working with him for the best part of 15 months up in Markinch Biomass plant. he is still up there the now and by the looks of it still be there till christmas atleast.
 
A worked with palmers for 10 years a no frank well
Am with Dsl but they are going down the pan aswell
Av got work till christmas so it's not lookin good right now

aye he was telling me, i know mate, any company with alot of overheads is gubbed. just need to keep asking about see if anything is going to happen.

dunno bout franny but defo roddy he is taking on the scottish branch of some company i think but roddy will get all his own guys that he took from RDA. palmers are giving him any work that they have left, to start hes got 3 blocks of flats in greenock. if franny goes he will try see if carillion will take them on. i got a call off joe gallacher at 3 the day saying that was me on my notice.

nah not received my letter or **** all. im not entitled to **** all but a phone call hardly class' as a way of making you redundent lol probs get a letter tomoz dated for today known them. You got another job to go to after christmas? Joe says hes hoping im going to be on a rolling contract but i cant see it.
 
nothing yet m8 they done that to me m8 and a took them for
7 grand just a phone call nothing else . its the same with dsl m8
but they have had us in the office with HR department going down
the right road about paying the men off. palmers have been getting away with it for years
 
when i was up markinch the lawyer come up to see us for 5 mins n never told us much. frank told me no later that the 23rd december, but by the looks of things the long termers will be there till january atleast. Got told yesterday there wouldnt be anymore pay offs this week then got that phone call today. if you can get on industrial side then thats where the work is but its just getting onto it.

that job with now recruitment was payin me and the m8 13 quid an hour and we got an hour travel so anybody goin for this , thats what u want
