Hi

Hi, am new to this site and dont know how to start a new threat,

I am looking to become a scaffolder and dont know where to start, I used to labourer to scaffolders a few years back and would like to start with a company and become qualified, I live in stirling scotland but could travel as i have a car. Any help or advise would be really helpful.

Phone the agency that's advertising for a scaff, tell them you want to register as a scaffs labourer, hopefully get a start,. Good luck.!!

Call round some local company's. find out if they are looking for scaffold labourers. Either that or u could book a part 1 course through the c.i.t.b yourself (£850) and then try nd get took on as a trainee scaff. If your not currently working you might be able to get help with the funding of the course, ask your local job centre to see if the can help towards the cost or if they know of any schemes that might help with the funding. Eg learn direct Scotland. Hope this helps

I think the boy's have covered it but you live in a perfect place to find work as you are so central. Get to the yards knock some doors and you will get a start immediately, a trainee with a car and licence could be worth their weight in gold to some.
