Hi i recently past my part 1 and have been trying to get a job but have been finding it hard to get a start as i dont have alot of experience. Was looking around the south yorkshire area but i am willing to work away just want to get my new carrier started any help would be greatly received.

They do exist. At Gatwick over 20 years ago there was a massive crash deck. This was boarded out with fire proofed boards then it was actually asphalted to make it waterproof to protect the areas below the crash deck. After the job was stripped I heard all the boards were cut into sole boards and distributed around the UK. So the sole boards were both fireproof and waterproof.

Yeah but that was 20 years ago, I can't see them about now. Anyway vcllb is still a mug for asking.

No I ain't asked for them don't think I ever would. But il shut my noise on that one then lol.
 
if fireproof then why not waterproof , if the job is stay up for a long time , then why not waterproof as it would stop deterioration of the wood.
