Lul lucas work xmas day / boxing day

Mmm... yummy, lol.

I know a Scaffolder who was 'laid off' on London Bridge for Palmers for arguing about getting dry/new PPE (Gloves, Overalls etc) after being stuck in the p.issing rain for 5 hours and soaked through so much so that his socks were sopping wet due to rain running down his body and into his waterproof boots.
He was told after asking for fresh PPE, which is his right by law that: "his attitude stinks and he has no future on London Bridge", by a certain manager on night, who at the time was sitting in a dry and heated room, reading a paper.

A week later he was 'laid off', whilst Agency and Subbies remained working.
Gotta love that job... they break more Health and Safety rules then omlettes break eggs.
 
Here's a easy but tasty winter dish,get four chicken pieces,chuck in a pan of water with salt n pepper and bring to the boil,remove chicken and strip the meat off the bones,discard the bones,return the chicken meat to the stock and bung in a small tin of sweetcorn(not to much sweetcorn)bring back to the boil and chuck in a egg white.......serve...........result,deliscious chicken n sweetcorn soup,add a dash of soy sauce to taste,lovely,and very cheap;)

Im trying to get a hold of some Haggis. Never tried it, but get a few Scottish mates who keep telling me to try it.

Sure there is a food thread ummm food i love it lol , haggis is good but like anything you can get a good hagis and a bad yan and i think if you get a bad yan it will put you off it but other than that its feking good
 
Quick change of subject....
Salmon in filo pastry topped up with whizzed paste of baby spinach peppery watercress parsley leaves garlic veg stock lemon juice and semi fat curd cheese... 20 min prep 20 min cooking served on rocket salad...just had it tried before serving to friend tomoz
