Looking for Supervisory or Advanced Scaffolder position in South East

Well as of today I am actively looking for another position somewhere in London. My current company is having serious money issues and people are not being paid. I'm taking time off this week to make a statement that I will not work without pay but unfortunately some of my lads do not have this option as they can not afford to take time off (If they ever do get paid)
Looking for something in or around London/ South East.

Advanced Scaffolder
Advanced Scaffold inspection
CISRS SSPTS Layher
SMSTS
Safety Passport
Confined Space Awareness
Asbestos Awareness
Harness Inspection
Current Scottish Disclosure
Own transport and all my own hair and teeth.

Any leads would be appreciated.

It would be better if you could persuade the others to stop working too, as that is the only (legal) option you have apart from County Court for debt.....

When a firm gets to the point where it can't or wont pay their employees, the writing is well and truly on the wall. :mad:

Alternatively, if a lot of you are doing work for one Main Contractor, you could contact them and explain the position......they will not want to be left without active Scaffolders.....and either they may take you on or it will provide the the leverage for your current firm to pay up!

Vllb is looking for a scaffolding supervisory position not a toilet attendant/janitorial kid on policeman and by the sounds of it grass position;)
on a more serious note all the best in your grievance procedure and future employment
 
I'm owed £2000 up to yesterday, I've had a call this morning about it but we'll wait and see what happens. Either way my bags are packed.

I dont know if these positions have been filled but it may suit you. Its on the tools not supervising though!!

ok lads heres an opportunity.

6 quality scaffolders with minimum 10 years experience wanted for a job on an LNG plant in Algeria. ( scaffolders not supervisors)

hours are 6 days week 10 hours a day. 60 hours
all accomodation in a company guesthouse.
all meals.
flights and visa costs paid by us.

it will take 3 weeks to get a business visa
then the rotation will be 4 weeks in country. back home for 3 weeks to get the work visa then 10 weeks in country.

no part1's allowed
no part2's with less than 10 years experience.

this is a muslim country so the opportunities to go out and socialise are nil.
the situation is safe but everyone needs to be careful.

the money is £1250 per week in country then £250 per week while waiting for the work visa. all monies paid after tax in uk bank account.


pm me and then i require copies of cv's and certs sent to my personnal email.

thats correct garry at least 1 of the 6 has gone knocked back a job on the shell site at ST FERGUS to go to Algeria,apparently the security is top notch now
well when i say i knocked it back i told Cape i smoked and they hung the phone up on me he had one of those LAANDAAN ACCENTS.
