But the reason the forum is falling apart is due to idiots like you..when admin 1st started- this was for scaffs to help each other & i find it so sad how it gets abused. & its why so many of the prominent posters have left the site, but u guys crack on

Nothing wrong with a bit of banter, leg pulling and pi** taking. It was all part of the scaffolders character and I for one hope it always will be. It is one characteristic that sets us apart from others in the construction and petrochemical industries such as humourless health and safety professionals, laggers and sparkies.

Maybe so in the pub forum ...but not me thinks in the job section, easy to take the pisss when you've got a job...but i noticed the guys that have pm'd me arnt talking bollllocks just guys that need a break....dont think you highjack threads when you need something

To be honest if you are really looking for a job you go straight to the bare bones and get the information required such as contact details, rates etc and dont take any notice of much else.
I for one when after advice concentrate solely on the helpful posts and skim over the schoolboyish attempts at humour from the likes of phil181 and his ilk.

The trouble with hijacking another members job add with jokey banter is that it may well deter other's from seeking workers from within the forum,which cant be good:(i love banter,but not on a serious thread made by a respected member,just my opinion;)

Exactly swifty just like the threads about Algeria. Isnt that how websites work? The more information and visits they have keep them higher up in the search engines so they come out first when someone puts in a keyword?
