hire bulk amounts of layher scaffolding

has it got to be layher ?? Ive never come across anyone that hires layher - however Beaver 84 have been brought out by Altrad that make a similar system called plettac - possibly they might be the ones to talk too

As far as i know plettac and layher can be mixed - i stand to be corrected

Try trad hire and sales. I'm pretty sure they might hire layher as in the past I've worked for them using that system. They are out of London but I'm sure they have branches dotted around the country. Good luck.

Beaver 84 do both layher, and yes you are correct scaffy they do plettec which can be mixed with layher

was an educated guess the generation rep said to me that they will continue on with cuplock but that beaver will be going down the plettac route

I've hired public stair's from george roberts liverpool, pretty sure they do it all 01515242434;)

Ok thanks for that guys, so the two systems are the same but the name of the brand is different. Is it similar to the sgb cuplock, and the system that is the same but under a different brand.

Iv got a massive job coming up in cameroon on the atwood hunter platform. We have to scaffold all 8 legs for blasting and painting. Each column is 25 ft diameter x 75ft high from the pontoon

It is a massive amount of material that we need, tube and fitting or cup lock would be to slow. Iv had no luck at dsl or generations.

Prepare yourself for a barrage of job applications, seems half the country wants to work in africa lol:cool:

Am I right in saying this is an export hire you are looking to sort out chargo, if not where is the site?

try metalusa mate, portugese based gear, good and new to britain but looking to expand in future markets, just dont forget me when you need someone to do a pull test or thank anyone (private joke dont worry);)

Yes mate,

The job is going to be built in Africa, we will ship the material directly to Cameroon, we will store it in large containers. the material will be on stored on a floating barge next to the rig

Metalusa - same as plettac - just a shame about the pain in the ass laurentino that sells it

Layher is the quickest for straight runs, we use it in cargo tanks on vessels in France, once the base is squared up, one man on each leg, the job flies up.

Tube and fitting is good, like you said, but it wouldn't suite this kind of job I don't think. we are going with 70 percent layher 30 percent t+f's

The job is for 120 men, 30 days work, probably 5 days either side sorting out the materials, When we start manning up i will put a post on here.
