contract manager/supervisor

Hi all

I work for a reputable company as a "on the tools contracts manager" but I am looking to get into the management side of scaffolding permanently. I am 27 advanced scaffolder with SSSTS course behind me.I have run multiple sites at any one time as the CM well In excess of £500,000.I find it thrilling and I know it's what I love.I have asked my MD for a more of a perm role in the office but he said that there is nothing is available yet,but I think he is happy to just use me as it is.

So my question to you is any operation managers,business development managers I interested in giving me a shot I won't let you down as I have continued to promote my company for 6 years to some senior main contractors and big industrial names

Good luck Chris, good to see young blood moving up into management, your boss will not know what he has till it too late.
 
27, hmm I'm 27 and I wouldn't work in the office to be honest, i would get slated unless on a small firm, anyways you must be doing something right, stay as you are mate
 
Call his bluff

stick yer notice in and see what he does.

And if yer as good as you think

he may keep yer or let you go.
