Advanced scaffold inspection

Alright lads do you have to do your basic inspection before your advanced inspection or go right for the advanced inspection
 
Need to have an advanced scaffold ticket to got right to advanced inspection mate

You can do it as long as you've got your basic scaffolder card and and prove you've been doing regular inspections


Prob better off getting your adv card tho marra
 
yeah got more bdges than i did at scouts .off shore ort marra bit boring at times. not likei thourght it would be just trip to trip so will see how it goes if not be back on the circut marra
 
You only need to hold the basic scaffold inspection cardcant remember how long but you have to do it first mate
 
looked in to it today called cisrs and citb. and if you have held a basic card for 2 or more years you can go for the advanced inspection and by pass the basic inspection if you want it before you will have to the basic 1
 
So a basic scaffolder can inspect an advanced scaffolders works ?

lol you can sit the advanced scaffold inspection course after having a part 2 for more than 2 years other wise you have to sit basic then the advanced and yeah a basic can inspect an advanced work with the advanced scaffold inspection.... dont hate the player hate the game lol its backwards marra scaffs should have to sit them at all and inspect what your ticket says you cna build but like you say its ****** up
 
when i done mine there were only 3 scaffolders in the whole class of 12 and the other 2 had only been in the game 4 years the rest were made up of 2 site agents 4 guys from a shopfitting company , they were doing it so they could tag mobile towers to fit signs on petrol stations,3 fork lift drivers from the same house building company and a girl from uni training to be a safety officer....totally wrong.

the guy taking the class said that there should only be 3 of us sitting the course, but because the company had taken payment he had no choice but to put everyone through it
 
that's not the best of it mate you don't have to be a scaffolder to get the inspection card eighter

@Sam…your spot on…

A non-Trained and Ticketed Delegate who has held a Basic Inspection Ticket for more that Two years was awarded his Advanced Inspection Ticket…the Delegate, by his own admission had never spun a spanner before in his life…just don't seem right some how…
 
the whole thing mate is just a money making machine that's got out of control
the powers that are in control of the whole situation are corrupt and trying to justify their existence (the none producers as we call them) what else do they contribute to our industry??? rules and regulations that suit them to peddle their wares on society and drive up costs to everyone safety where safety is needed we all want to go to work and come home again at the end of the day but you cant help feeling stifled at every turn here endeth the RANT LOL
