First time ive seen one looks like its used on an I beam and as the gents say for Vertical droppers underside of the structure.

Me personally if I got the chance to purchase at a car boot I would use it as a door stop for nostalgic reasons.


Prototype Cast fitting to be used on I Beams which failed during load / stress tests as the bottom part sheared off.
