total bulshit mate,the area codes at the start of the phone numbers are for conneticutt and new york city,the visas for working in the states are ridiculously hard to get and can take upwards of a year,theres a way around this via the 90 day visa waiver (holiday visa where you waive your rights to the usa constitution)but it involves your company stating your a trainer for american workers and involves thousands of pounds and a few trips to london to the us embassy,even then with going on a visa waiver the yanks at the gate have refusal carte blanche,phone just dont use the website is absolute bollax mate,avoid this as if its going to give you groin itch:wacko:,if any decent american opportunities come your way and you want advice let me know mate:D

Why would you think it is not real, Helix Energy Solutions are a well know firm throughout the world. Obtaining a visa for the offshore industry in Usa is allot easier than obtaining a green card, How many yanks do you think work offshore in Europe, How many rigs do you think Ensco/Transocean/Maersk have offshore in the states, mainly manned with British and Scottish crew

sorry mate your wrong,its a total clusterfuck to try and sort your own visas out for the states but before i get into details johnny look at when he says do not contact us by website,only by phone,anybody trying to email will be immeadiately removed from the process,absolute con,i worked for thyssenkrupp and brand in the usa,i also have experience in international recruiting of men from all over the world and its ten times easier for a american to work in europe than it is for a brit to get into working in the states,it just is a quagmire of lost money and embassy visits that can ultimately end up being dismissed by an over zealous border official,sorry mate your wrong on this occasion:embarrest:

if your going down the sponsorship route with a huge company and they take care of things thats easier,however this reads like the lines straight out of a Boiler Room!

He said for recruiters not to contact the site, most of their work is done on fpso.s/pipe laying vessels, meaning you are a able seaman ,meaning you can travel into any port in the world, the easiest way is to contact Helix directly, they will soon tell you if it’s a scam or not.

Where did the email originate from? Did you recently apply with this company? or did it just arrive in your inbox, do you use hotmail as your email client?

You have no way in checking that unless you received the original email..

To find out where an email is from in outlook express, right click on the message while it’s in the inbox panel and select message options. A window will open with a header containing all the message sender details. If you are using windows live, right click the message while it s in the inbox and choose properties then the details tab. In Gmail, open the mail and right click in the upper right corner of the email where you'll see the word reply and a little down arrow to the right. Click on the arrow and select show original. For hotmail, simply right click the message and choose view message source and yahoo mail, right click and choose view full headers from the drop down list.
Once you have done the above look and find the Ip address it was sent from. Then go here to this site and enter the ip. It will then list the country it was sent from.(Don’t forget if it is a scam, the scammer will be using an ip blocker to hide his original ip)

Total nonsense. E-mail address cleverly changed so the unsuspecting dont notice.
But the give away for me is the Engineer in his title. Certainly Arabs, Indians,Africans, Filipinos who have an engineering degree preface their names like that but the head of recruitment????
