hi lads,
anyone had a response back about this job?.

I'm going to Sierra Leone 1st week in January, last injection on Friday, working for a company based in uk. ( not agency)
Money is better than what that Craig quoted & less hours, will keep you posted on what the situation is like out there, I have friends already out there,( not scaffs)so I know what to expect, be very careful on this one boys, like previous posts says, security is a big issue out there, be prepared to pay out for your rabies & yellow fever injections & malaria tablets. You wont get much change from £500, make sure you can claim it all back.
Coming into the hot/dry season there.
If you go in January you have to work till end of this financial year & the whole of next years, if you finish before you will be liable to pay the tax on the money you have earned !!! Beware, of that one.

Let us know if its any good Paul.
I have a job in Holland lined up for next year, but if that falls through, if you guys need any help ill have a go at Africa. :)

Time i strted working away, while im still young.

Is it supervising job Jason? have they talked money yet? Could be a good experience for you doing some hangers in an industrial enviroment. Another string to your bow.
reminds me a bit of myself.....a big step putting that toe across the channel ....once you have done that then the worlds your oyster son....

No mate, just a Scaffolder.

I dont wanna become a Supervisor.
Im not the right 'kind of person' to be a Supervisor anyway, lol. ;)

Im excited, but quietly shiiiting myself a bit also.

These guy's are identity thieves, sierra leone,is a dirt poor country where the machine gun rules, even feckin rambo would'nt go there and get out alive, feck that:laugh:

I was told that Rambo did infact go out there... teaching 5 year olds how to spell.
He lasted 3 weeks before one of the children tried to kill him with a AK47! :D :D
