Hope you dnt mind me joining your forum, I'm a university student hoping to learn from some of your posts! I'm currently doing some research on the history of skaffolding as I am aware it has changed dramatically in the past 50 years! i hope to find some useful links/ images.

Welcome Hampster, You've come to the right place. The picture and video section is full of information on old scaffolding, some from the 1800's wooden scaffolding and early 1940's-50's steel scaffolding, even extracts from old scaffold manuals. There's also pictures and information on bamboo scaffolding, this forum is probably the best site on scaffolding related matters. Any questions you have just ask, someone will have the answer.
