been offerd some gear

Don't want to put the kibosh on it mate but I thought you were a part 1 ?
Wouldn't get insurance would you or am I wrong. Could you get another lad (part2, advanced) and do it ? Im not sure

Who ganna ask him for his tickets like  So long as he can put a safe roofing scaffold job up no one will care quick lash get your cash

Sorry mate. I thought he meant doing it proper like. Sure I read insurance mentioned etc
Fair enough if he's just gonna lash it up and no one ever has an accident on one if his scaffolds

I think he probably was thinking of doing it proper, nothing wrong with having a plan. It was either that or punting the gear, I was just having a laugh.

See, there it is, the thing that annoy's me the most. How come I have to have a specialist policy to cover working at height which can cost an arm and a leg yet your average builder insures him self for all associated trades and gets it for next to nothing?

Oh right, that's what I'm asking. I don't know what the craic is mate. Just putting it out there

Well yeah only part one yes i know legally i crnt got 3 older bros part 2's, would love to be able to do a 8 till 5 in the summer and then knock a few up but the gaffer wants u there till 8 9 in summer so no chance of getting back and knocking them up hopefully get a sumet sorted was only thinking of the insurance for on the street and permits this place is full of grasses always reporting i know ya can make a good wage after work the oldest bro was doing it but then fort he was the bees knees and sitting in the pub while me and the other 2 put it up for 30 each lol its a thourght i was considering but maby no quiet my time . And liek you said a wage for just 2 people sint hard to find witha van and a bit of gear is it cheers lads

the grass always looks greener on the otherside- but the more u wanna earn the more ur gonna need to spend bit like a catch 22 - stay in your normal job and just do cash at wkends but dont ever spend it wait till u get enough saved by which time u would av a nice little list of bob the builders wanting work done - then take the plunge, i would advise talking through wiv your current boss so he dont feel to agreaved & threatened that u gonna take some of his client base (worked wiv me) then theres always the chance he would give u all the little jobs that arnt ecconmically viable for him, i do it at the mo for anything under £500 and it helps my mate to grow and keeps me in good stead with my clients, any enquiry he gets thats too big for him ,comes to me so we all happy- just try and stay legal so it dont come back and bite u in the arse

thats it sp. i can only ask but chances are he'll tell me to fek right off and never darken his gates again lol
