Is there a simple formula for calculating materials quantities when estimating in cubic metres of scaffolding?

If I have 500 cubic meter..and one person completes o.7 cubic meter per hour...would you multiply or divide the 0.7 into the 500

There a really good book on scaffolding & estimating, its only £7.70 on Amazon for the kindle edition just now; it's called "scaffolding, the handbook for estimating and product knowledge" by Michael Terry Marks.

You should be able to create an excel sheet without too much difficulty to calculate the materials based upon grid size and lift heights, the same logic would apply to access scaffolds.
It will never be 100% accurate but will be close enough to work with.
Dependent upon your Excel abilities you may be in a position to get given lengths of tube as opposed to a basic total m run

OK for the hours OB but not for the materials or transport element (divide the 500 by the 0.7)

Hi spanners , would you be kind enough to share the sheet..
Thanks
Ow

Thanks alan, I have something in excell for the manhours but looking for something that can do both if.you have anything..

What is the average rate of work for scaffolders, just the cubic meter per day
