i been pulled by H S E , about ties , so been an bought drill an rings an anchors, drilled the wall , but it jus melted , where do i stand with H S E .?.:worried:
 
what about chemical ties or excaliber bolts i dont think i have ever drilled into sandstone you would be shot for doing that in London
 
and in london you get away with just bout anything too........just dont drill into sandstone.
 
trouble is where i live the whole place is built on sandstone an lot ov places have rendered sandstone, wich ya dont know about untill ya drill. :eek:
 
same town and same pubs , we spoke friday i told him to use chewing gum , think he has done it
 
tescos own !!! , excaliburs seem ok in sandstone or them rubber things !!!

HSE are having a big blitz down here , usually we get most of there attention as the man does not like me , but last week we only got one improvement notice so not bad ha
 
just dont hold it , all very pourous down here !!!!
Chemical anchors dont work that well either
