tesco toxteth on behalf of patton builders brickies from ireland have won the contract for both brick work and scaffolding i have never seen a site like it
Got a start today for o neil-brennen recruitment shocking not a tie not a brace ladders vertical and outside plywood used as base plates no hand rails no gear four different agencys on there lads on site said the brick layers bought £15000 worth of quick form with them and put it up them selfs then hired agency scaffs to rectify it apsolutely mess the stacker driver runs the site be carfull dont waste your time
Seen this in the jobs section.Where's the HSE when ***** like this is going on?These pricks should be blown sky high, cheap brickies using cheap scaffolding not complying to any current regs. by the sound of it.Like to know who the main contractor is,they want f-cking as well.

same old bullsh!t we get pulled on everything , yet brickies and other trades get away with murder . there are still loads of builders using there own version of scaffold .usually tressle on tressle or newman board on a wheely bin

As the cuts get deeper I think we will see more and more of this unfortunately.

Not a level playing field for all trades though is it.
Like mentioned in a thread a while ago, a bricky removed a tie from a scaffold and the incident was passed over, not even a near miss or anything, yet a scaffolder can be thrown off site for not clipping on for 1 second.
Totally wrong companys are getting away with crap like this in 2011.
