Hey Neil
The company i work for have stopped the scaffs using the ratchet spanners due to wear and tear to many slips and sore hands. Personaly i think they are the best thing ever invented for scaffs. Cuts down on repetitive strain injury

Ratchet Spanners

Gaz,

afraid I have to agree with the firm you are working for.

Rat **** is how they sound and Rat **** is what they are !

What is wrong with a good old fashioned box spanner ?

Nothing !!!!!

A purpose made tool for the trained specialist !

If I sound like a dinosaur it's because I am one

I suppose it's horses for courses.

We sell lots of ratchets and swingover spanners and most scaff's tend to use both.

I think you have an advantage having both in your tool belt!

Neil

system tool set up

alot of the boys use system neil, do you have a set up with a podger hammer or system hammer for the same price, maybe lose the tape.

Hi Lloyd, we don't currently have any setup like that, but we will happily customise these kits to suit individual needs.

Billy your spot on never give a trainee a tape OR a bubble it just confuses them have you ever seen a trainee trying to plumb a return takes them forever hahahahahah

Never mind plumbing a return in,it takes them long enough to RETURN with the breakie order from the cafe, lol:D

hahahaha Daz my new trainee is called "stevie wonder " on account of iam always wonderring where the **** he is

i carry a swing over and a ratty as well as a podger and claw hammer, the claw hammer for pulling nails out of wooden planks that bnuilders like to leave in them and a podger a bent pointed end to help pull up quick stage planks.
Always carry a tape measure wether you are learner or not, sometimes leading hands loose their ones.

i used to call every one for carrying a ratchet but after 7 years using one i love them for sleeves and beamwork.
