When designers are doing their designs - what would you need to see in the design calculations to ensure it meets the requirements of the British and European standards. Im not a designer but would like to know this for myself as i thinks its an important part of any management system for scaffolding.

To be honest i've never really looked at the calculations.

If the designer has done the design and sent the calcs and it's been checked by another designer i would imagine it's covered.

The designer has to have his qualification to allow him to carry out the design so that would overrule anything I could do, the Temporary Works Forum released a Scaffolding Management document for BS5975 that might be worth looking at.

Can you send me an example of their designs it is for nothing else but to use an example i only need the calcs
