My theory why the scaffold didnt collapse in the Notradamme fire yesterday (2 Viewers)

This is just my opinion so please dont quote me.

Because there was so much scaffolding linked together (seen in the photos), and most likely it being system scaffolding (as they prefer in europe) one would expect they used steel decks in stead of boards. Surely steel can resist extreme heat for a limited period but after a while I am sure it would have weakened it severely. I would expect many nodes would have melted together and now with all the bracing it would form a giant truss like system which could just about keep itself up.

What do you guys think?
