Hi all, has anyone ever come across a system that could attach to a standard gate to make it soft close or give a delayed close?

We are working on a job which will have a train door where the access points are so there is no risk of fall.

Many thanks in advance

Layher have a swing gate that you can attatch into the rossette of the standard, as for the delay.. You'd have to figure that out

The Layher one has an angle built in ( no spring at all ) so is self closing. To put on tube you would need 2 of there clamp on rosettes
No wonder this website forum is on last legs and hardly anyone posts questions now when you get poor unhelpful comments

Always has had poor and unhelpful comments, just lost all the decent lads who came on for good crack n banter, but you can’t seem to have that anywhere nowadays!!!

Don’t worry about phil181 he has never got over being turned down for the Algeria gig

Apologies for dragging this thread up but I haven’t looked in for a while

Thank you for your reply’s, we couldn’t find anything that worked for us on the market, we ended up fixing a standard gate to a ramp which worked well for what we needed. Didn’t do everything the client originally wanted but works well.
