Group accused of defrauding scaffolding firm due in court

Four men are accused of defrauding Combined Scaffolding Ltd.

They include a contracts manager, Paul House, 52, of Grange Drive, who has been charged of fraud by abuse of position possession of £65,212.60 and scaffolding belonging to his employer.

Three other men, Joshua House, 26, of Grange Drive, Christopher House, 28, of Cherry Tree Road, Cricklade, and David Cook, 28, of Beech Avenue, each face two charges of fraud. They have been accused of defrauding Combined Scaffolding Ltd out of between £350 and £640.

A woman, Nichola Jodi House, 50, of Grange Drive, has been charged with acquiring, using or possessing £65,212.60 in criminal property jointly with Paul House from commercial transactions undertaken by House and Sons.

The five are expected to enter not guilty pleas to the charges when they appear at Swindon Magistrates Court today.
