    When I first started I saw a fitting similar with two gateson it.

    Looks like it might be used to build a 3 legged dolly tower or a 3 ledger truss

    I have seen similar many years ago at Brands Hatch when asked to remove the stands only these were 4 corners great for dolly towers on a gantry etc, not seen them since

    could it be used in the tv and film industry to hand rigging for lights before the triangular lattice beams arrived on the SCENE
