Hi lads does anyone have a copy of a scaffolding contract. Had a bad experience with a snake back end of last year cost myself a few quid relying on trust.
Just about to start a new build site and want to get everything belt and braces before we put 1st pad on the ground. Would really appreciate any help.
Cheers in advance

Hi JBS. There used to be contracts drawn up for scaffolding contractors they were rarely used. By the sound of your post you are the subbie to a building contractor and will be subject to the conditions of his contract. (He who pays the piper calls the tune).
Price, dim's, terms and conditions that you included in your quotation should be your starting point. The contractor will accept your offer based on the conditions of his order form, be it an in house bespoke form or say, a JCT form of contract. Before accepting you may wish to discuss and amend the conditions the contract with him and try to bend them in your favor. Any agreements made will need to be submitted in writing BEFORE you put one fitting on site.
Obviously if competition is strong in your area he might just drop you and go elsewhere.
Hope this is some help to you.

Have PM you, but to be honest with all this paperwork if your clients been a bas.tard then get an attack dog :)

when things go wrong with a customer it can be very difficult to get whats owed ,
sometimes you just gotta put it down to experience and move on as hard as that can be at the time mate.
