We do the 5 day CISRS supervisor course, as the SMSTS is not really relevant to scaffolding. A scaffold firm will hardly ever be a PC, so no need to learn the CDM regs.

How much more can they dream up to pull more dough in? It smacks of desperation.
To coin an term from economics, 'the law of diminishing returns' is presenting itself to CISRS.

This course is currently being updated to more closely mirror the smsts. More exercises using the g700 manuals.

These have always got a sale on.

As for if it's worthwhile or not, depends on how many doors it opens. Like all these things, it's not great but if it sparks an opportunity that otherwise would be unavailable, then it's obviously worth it.

Ive just read that theyre changing the critea for the sits card as well so that you have to prove u got 2 yrs in tje industry....thats gonna upset a few people....wots the bet that mr mosley dreams up another course as a pre requisite for the inspection course:-(
