I've just been told that basing out with your inside standards inside the inside ledger is illegal does anyone know if this is true

I ain't heard that mate ,
What would be the difference which side of the ledger the standard is on

Not sure but it did make me wonder why most people do it the other way which is more awkward as I was taught

Cheers does seem a lot easier than wangling 21s inside your ledger

Its not illegal as far as I know. There are some firms that use that method as standard practice. Soon as you just get used to the measurements on the base lift many scaffs swear by it.

Irrelevant which side ledgers is ,
It should be 39 inchs inside to centre on the standards for 4 boards :p

Why would you need to put your standards this way? Can you not lift the big ones up 6" over your kicker lift???????

No kicker lift on the street, he's probably stood on a wheelie bin putting in a normal street lift.

Nothing changed regarding what side ledger goes on the standard.

Funding depends on where you live unless you completed your level two as an apprentice.

Thanks especially for the hilarious banter
