Just a quick one for the lads that are looking to head offshore for the first time

There are plenty of changes happening within the offshore industry at present, but when you arrive on offshore for the first time these will become apparent.

With the 28th anniversary of the disaster on Piper Alpha just behind us 6/7/88, I think that these videos are certainly worth viewing and would encourage you to watch them.

To the new lads that are green to the industry they are certainly worth watching, for numerous reasons.

Also, Hazelhead park is worth a visit to see the memorial.

I Agree the memorial is well worth a visit, the films are also worth a watch and are a great training tool, but I wouldn't watch them before heading out much like I wouldn't want to watch the Poseidon adventure before embarking on a cruise.

That been said, lest we forget. RIP
