Hi guys, ive been asked by my insurer to provide a health and safety policy via a consultation or a policy that has been approved by an independent consultant. Any advice or recommendations. Kind regards Tony.

You would probably be better off going to a safety advisor and paying for them to draw you up one that suits your way of doing things
Safety & Access http://www.safetyaccess.co.uk/ or
Simian Risk Simian Risk Group - At the leading edge of height safety
do bespoke scaffolding safety management systems and I'm sure there are lots of other's
it does cost, but if you just copy someone else's and the shat hits the fan, it will cost you more!

Yes I looked on HSE web site and it did say nothing in writing is required if less than 5 employees. My insurers have asked me to get one as well as a PPE register.
