Hi
Can anyone suggest me how to proceed strenght properties test the timber board Annex A (Informative ) with BS 2482 2009 as Table A .1 and Annex C , The C 2 How to load the specimen as shown in figure C 1 , Max load reach 300+/-120 s, whether thhe unit is kNm. that mean max load around 300Kgs, right?
load each side of specimen with 300 /side or both side totally 300 ( 150/side)

Thanks

I don't think you should be testing scaffold boards if you don't understand the testing criteria set out in BS 2482. Why would you test them anyway, unless you are a manufacturer? All boards sold in the UK should be stamped with BS 2482 and have the maximum support centres stamped on the side. The minimum load you would need to apply to a 38mm board for it to pass would be around 522kg to each side of the board (1044kg total load), as shown in C2 and table C1.
