Hi marra your looking for public an employment liability for you on a sole trader basis Google it

If your not gonna employ anyone then you might not need the employers liability ,
I had a way around it when the twin towers came don and the insurance went through the roof ,
I had my public liability and a separate personal life insurance for my lads ,
It's the employers liability that cost the money

Hi Marra, Did you gest this sorted?

It is fairly straightforward tbh - True if you are working under somones else instruction you would fall under there insurance but i find that most scaffolders are specialist and so are generally BFSC. Fof example my housebuolder clients are not going to be telling there scaff's how to do there job.

Only people gonna make money from that is the company he is working for ;)
Matter sons tried that years ago to avoid directly employing their men ,
Brogan sat up a company and all their lads where down as directors to avoid directly employing their men ,
Only winner is the company employing you ;)

the company i work for you can go direct for them but the wage isnt that good couldnt do it working away . threw an agency its not a bad wage but if i go ltd i will be around 150 a week better off than threw agency. soon adds up

I know what your saying marra ,
Just be careful is all we are trying to advice you ;)

av got a good an accountant thats keeping me stright. i would say the slpit of the travelers is 75% ltd and 25% umbrella alot of the locals are ltd. after 6 months agency work you can go direct with the company but they some agrement with the agency it can only be after 6 months. a lot of them dont take the core crew jobs and stay on the better money
