As Stella Fella says there are a myriad of threads about life and working down under.
However the Aussie bubble has burst due to the downturn in the Chinese economy.
There are still ongoing LNG projects as well as some iron ore new build and maintenance projects but the days of being able to go from one well paying job to the next are long gone.
There may be more chance of getting a start in Algeria these days.

go to melbourne, in the city theyre taking home the equivalent of a grand here and they dont graft out there mate believe me mate.

Melbourne is a vibrant city in which to live. A grand doesn't go far there though.
