price for scaffold tube hire

anybody know what the current average price is for hiring scaffold materials ?

have been asked to price for a housing site near bristol , dont want to go out and buy **** loads of kit or a lorry, so going to look at going down the hiring everything route...

Not being funny fella I wish you all the best and hope it works out for you but someone who owns all their kit won't have any problem in out gunning you on their quote and to be honest there isn't that much profit in house bashing unless you have 4 or 5 sites on the go good luck pal call any hire and sales up they will email their prices through to ya .

The largest proportion of kit is lost and or damaged on Demo and housing sites.
If you hire the kit in you will rent it for the period of the contract and end up paying for it at replacement cost at the contract end.

Generation or Trad will hire you the kit and give you current rates.

Dsl are pretty cheap i been told

Yep DSL are the ones. Only need a buss pass with a photo to open a hire account aswell :laugh:

Hire only as a last resort- make take time & cashflow to obtain a decent credit rateing wiv the supplier - tbh t&f are relatively cheep, its the brds that mount up as well as on a site its hard to factor in additional hire & replacement cost for lost/damaged materials - it will defo reduce any potential profit maybe even to a stage where unleds you have decent cashflow could undermine your whole company strategy so be carefull - ots good to be busy but not a busy fool
