System trial

I see on youtube the woodgroup carried out trials on a number of system scaffolds and tube. They tested both erection and dismantle. Was wondering does anybody know the results of the trials. Cuplock I think seemed to be quickest

I would say derryscaff out of all the systems cuplock is very quick but there is a down side to this system this is what I found when I worked with this system
1/In the cold weather the actual cup smashes in cold conditions due to this being cast.
2 In very hot conditions it smashes.
3 Safety glasses are a must with this as shards of cast fly off the cup into your eyes
personally not the sort of things you need this day an age

Worked with cuplock for over 30 years never come across problems with top cup. Saying that we r in Northern Ireland so never experienced very hot conditions. I think some copies had these problems. We try to use only genuine sgb cuplock as we find it far better than the rest. I Wud b interested to find results of these trials to c hw each system compares
