I would like forum members thoughts if possible,

Would any of you consider operating a DAF or MAN 10T (10,000Kg GVW) vehicle if you could carry over 5 tonne? Standard 22ft scaffold spec body, tail board, post holes. Great turning circles, good fuel economy and lower road tax.

  • Saving of £450 per year (10 Tonne £200 for 12 months vs 18 Tonne + @ £650)
  • Same size as a 7.5 tonne vehicle.

We have chassis in stock available for build but can't decide if it's worth building Scaffold spec bodies on these.

Your feedback would be appreciated.

Tbh m8 I think youd be beyter off doing that with a 15t

Ideal for street work gangs. I see 15 and 18 tonners running round and half the gear never gets used. 10 and 12 tonners are ideal for street work.

ex brewery wagons are the way forward with their low bodies make dam good scaffold trucks
